Circle of 6 is a White House/ HHS award-winning mobile application to prevent dating violence and sexual assaults among young adults age 18-24. With two taps, Circle of 6 connects users threatened with sexual assault and relationship abuse to a network of trusted friends, using GPS technology, emergency hotlines, and community support. Circle of 6 launched March 2012 in anticipation of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and had 7,000 downloads in the first week. Circle of 6 has been featured in the Chronicle of Philanthropy, Al-Jazeera, and the White House blog.
