With support from CDC, YTH partnered with the San Francisco Community Health Center (formally API Wellness) to provide national capacity building assistance to community based organizations that implement programs for HIV prevention among high risk communities. YTH implemented comprehensive needs assessments to guide the CBA priorities while working closely with the CBOs and the communities they serve to provide highly targeted technical assistance. Our CBA work included group level trainings and webinars, one on one TA, technology transfer and linkage to tech tools. As a result of our partnership with these organizations, their ability to reach young people at risk for HIV through tech tools increased, also increasing rates of HIV testing among key populations.
