Late-Breaker Call for Abstracts: Youth+Tech+COVID-19

Submission Guidelines

In its twelfth year, YTH Live 2020 aims to further center youth in technology and its impact on youth health. YTH Live 2020 will focus on key youth populations’ overall health and wellness in the US and globally and how innovative technology can be used to prevent and treat negative health outcomes and support positive ones.

We invite you to submit a late-breaker abstract focused on innovative technology and new media solutions to support youth health & wellness in the face of COVID-19.

The COVID-19 pandemic is impacting the lives of young people around the globe. Isolation, loneliness, and serious mental health outcomes have been reported. Many young people have turned to technology and new media to help get through this challenging time – staying connected, building community, spreading awareness, and destigmatizing mental health.

If you have developed or adapted technology or new media to support youth during this pandemic, we want to know about it! And we want to put you and your innovation in front of a live, virtual audience of youth, health care providers, public health practitioners, technologists, and funders from around the globe who can learn from you, partner with you, and adapt/tailor your innovations.

Evaluation Criteria

The YTH Live Program Committee reviews abstracts for the innovative projects, research, and technologies that have shaped our conference for more than a decade. Please note that all submissions must be non-promotional. Abstracts that discuss commercial products, technologies, or services must provide competitive context and show no commercial bias.

Abstract Format
