Reflections on YTH Live 2014

This year, we convened our best YTH Live ever with our community’s support.

We brought together over 400 of the brightest minds in youth tech health, welcomed 50 diverse and groundbreaking speakers, and showcased the latest youth health tech solutions with 15 sponsors and exhibitors.

We’re grateful to be partnering with you to be the change we want to see in the world. Your passion and commitment to ensuring that youth lead healthier lives allowed us to make a bigger and bolder impact.

YTH Live 2014 ignited ideas, captured imaginations, and built partnerships that will grow and deepen throughout the year– and beyond.

Opening Plenary

Here’s some of what we’ve heard from attendees about their experiences so far:

• Shoutout to the Japantown location this year! I loved it when the youth were talking about their inspiration. Really inspired me to be great.
• The teen panel! Presenters! The Variety!
• Everyone on the online feminism panel was so open and honest.
• I loved it when a simple idea helped to change a community.
• Shout out to Jack Andraka and Adora Svitak! It was great when the YTH Health Hackathon winners heard their app would be funded.

It was an honor to surface and celebrate what’s new, what’s now, and what’s next in youth tech health at YTH Live 2014. We look forward to continuing to advance technology for youth health and wellness together.

Hackathon

We hope you enjoy some of these photographic highlights from our time together. We’ll have slides, a blog wrap up, and more photos up soon.

Did you miss any plenaries? Don’t fret. We look forward to sharing videos on our website soon.

Thank you for believing in us and in the power of youth innovation.
