YTH’s Tech Advisory Board includes professionals from the mobile, design, and technology fields who apply their diverse experience and skill sets to the guidance of our organization. They work closely with the YTH team to influence the direction, scope, development, and application of technology in our health initiatives for youth.

Head of Product Communications, Square

Eitan is the Head of Product Communications at Square. He was most recently the Head of Communications at DoorDash and has held communications roles at Google, The Sierra Club and The Pramana Collective. He holds a BA in English and a BS in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.

Platform Architect with Pivotal Software, Inc.

Matt currently serves as the Platform Architect at Pivotal Software, Inc., with long term focus on 3rd platform migrations, cloud-native system design, large scale virtualization and the business & peoples challenge that both drive and prevent those efforts. He is a repeat speaker at DellWorld, EMCworld, VMworld, RedisConf and many user group meetings. Based in Oakland, CA, he spends way too much time on aircraft and is overly picky about airline seats, programming languages and doing the right thing for people.

Global Strategy & Operations Lead, YouTube

Janani hails from Calgary, Canada, and is now based in the Bay Area.  A computer scientist by training, she served as a Program Manager at Microsoft for 4 years, prior to 3 years in management consulting at McKinsey & Company and Keystone Strategy.  She currently works at Google as a Strategy and Operations lead for YouTube and in her spare time enjoys anything outdoors – hiking, biking, running or sitting on the beach.  She holds a BS in computer science and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

UX Design Manager, Google

Lori Levy has spent much of the past twenty years trying to simplify complexity by designing intuitive and elegant user experiences. She is currently a User Experience Design Manager at Google. Previously, she served as an omni-channel design and strategy consultant and Director of Experience Architecture at IBM Interactive Experience in Atlanta, London, and San Francisco. She is gratified to be working with YTH on their mission to advance the health of youth and young adults through technology.

 

adamquinnAdam Quinn

Formerly Mighty Networks, Avaaz, and MoveOn.org

Adam has spent over a decade bringing together technology and progressive online organizing at places like Democracy for America, MoveOn, and Avaaz. He also worked at companies like CREDO Mobile and startups like Mighty Networks marrying technology, growth, and activism.

He has an entrepreneurial spirit and as an experienced product manager and growth specialist, Adam has helped leverage technology to empower millions of regular folks to make positive change around the world. Including building the technology platform millions have used to run and win their own local campaigns on anything from social justice to environmental issues.

For fun, Adam and his partner run Charity Burger, which has raised thousands of dollars for organizations like Planned Parenthood, ACLU, and BuildON while serving some of the best burgers in the Bay area. He can be found at https://www.linkedin.com/in/adam-quinn/.

Strategy Manager for Healthcare, Government, & Education Partnerships, Lyft

Nadir Vissanjy serves as the Chief of Staff and Founding Director for Lyft’s Healthcare Team, LyftCare. Over the past year, Nadir led Lyft’s initiatives in the healthcare transportation sector by building meaningful partnerships with organizations in the continuum of care. These partnerships have made a monumental impact on breaking down transportation as an obstacle to accessible care.

He is a graduate of the dual degree program at MIT Sloan School of Management and Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.

Prior to graduate school, Nadir served as a Congressional Aide for the Honorable Michael M. Honda representing Silicon Valley. Before his tenure in Congress, Nadir was the Strategic Campaigns Organizer for the Service Employees International Union Local 1021, representing 55,000 public sector employees in Northern California.

Prior to that, Nadir was a Coro Fellow in Public Affairs, Chair of the California State Student Association and President of the Associated Students of Sonoma State University. Nadir is the first in his family to graduate from college, where he was part of the inaugural class of the California DREAM Act students from Sonoma State University.

Nadir was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal and spent his formative years in Northern California.

NEXT is a mobile responsive website to facilitate access to preventive services, including STD prevention, sexual health resources, and other social services for youth exiting supervised care systems (YESCS) like foster care and/or the juvenile justice system.
